Radio tapes for the
visually impaired

Project Information

The project is based in the Newlyn Centre, Kenton. A small group of volunteers read the programme schedules for BBC1, ITV1, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Newcastle for the following week and this information is recorded onto audio cassette and distributed to a regular mailing list of visually impaired people. The tapes are issued free and all we ask is that you return the tape to us, in the red pouch provided (also freepost), by the following Wednesday.

How to receive the tapes

If you would like to receive the tapes, or know of anyone else who would benefit from them, call Carol on 0191 389 1155.
