The volume of images begins to increase again.

Delays are being experienced in terms of the speed of uploading to the Internet. This is usually the busiest part of the day for Internet traffic, however.

At the end of the day we thought it would be a good idea to give everyone an overview of how the day went. All in all it all went well. Although Geoff was having a wobbler at one point (about 14.00 Hrs) After we calmed him down we got the project back on track and continued with the survey. For the second day of this survey we need to tighten up on a few of todays problems that we have encountered.

Too many people collecting too much information, and the whole process needs to simplified. We need to allocate specific tasks to specific people. An example would be tying the narrative and images together to make more of a story.

We have identified certain weakness in the survey questionaires and we need to tighten up on them. Perhaps the next time we will be better. The Wap database was a problem because it did not work. The web site was not technically difficult to do, and all the images and text loaded well. The survey returns are at 80 plus, and we think that this was a good response.

Overall, after a shakey start (to be expected) the day got progressively better, as we got more and more familiar with the process it got easier. The weather could have been a little kinder, as it rained most of the day. Tomorrow is another day and the sun will shine!!!
