CSV TENE Volunteering Opportunities




		Every year more and more people in the North East of England generously volunteer thousands of hours of their time to help many, many organisations and charities. We have our fair share of valued volunteers who work alongside CSV staff. They generously share their talents and time with us to help us deliver a range of services aimed at making a difference to local communities. We are deeply grateful for the time they spend with us. Volunteering is an ideal way for anyone to gain experience and skills whilst helping others. At the same time, their organisation or charity gains experienced helpers, their energy, enthusiasm and support. As one of the leading Volunteer Development agencies in the area, we work with a wide network of voluntary and statutory agencies across the north east, promoting best practice and social inclusion in all types of voluntary activity. In addition, CSV operates specialised volunteering projects aimed at involving different age groups such as RSVP (for older people). There are also projects offering volunteer opportunities in specific situations or organisations, such as: Community Partners (Citizenship in Schools) and CSV Action Desk (at BBC Radio Newcastle).
